DAVACO to Award Scholarships for Annual Merchandising Competition
Company Continues Support for FGI's Mission to Support Educational Opportunities for Fashion and Retail

Dallas, TX (March 27, 2012) – DAVACO, Inc. (, the national leading provider of high-volume programs and implementation services for retail, restaurant and consumer brands, is pleased to announce the company's participation in the annual FGI Career Day 2012: A Style Symposium, which will be held on April 13, 2012 at the Dallas Market Center's World Trade Center. Fashion Group International's Dallas Career Day is the largest and longest-running event of its kind in the country, with over 1,200 students and faculty members from 40 colleges and universities across 12 states.

For the sixth year in a row, DAVACO will sponsor the annual Excellence in Merchandising Competition, which recognizes outstanding performance by students in merchandising, marketing, branding and promotion at the retail level. DAVACO has partnered with Havaianas (, a designer and manufacturer of luxury flip flops and sandals, to provide students with a rare, "hands-on" experience in merchandising an international brand. DAVACO will award $1,000 in scholarships to the winner(s) of this competition.
