DAVACO CEO RICK DAVIS COMMENTS ON OUTSOURCING TRENDS
Retail Traffic Magazine Discusses Retailers’ Needs as they Ramp-up for Growth
Dallas, TX (July 5, 2011) – DAVACO, Inc. (www.davacoinc.com), the national leading provider of turnkey retail and restaurant service solutions, announced that the company’s CEO, Rick Davis, was recently included in the article “Helping Hands” by Mike Janssen in the May/June 2011 issue of Retail Traffic Magazine. In the story, Janssen reveals that retailers are continuing to rely on outsourcing partners as they focus on “making the most of existing properties and exercising more caution in deciding when and where to expand.”
Referring to DAVACO’s proprietary ClearThread™ technology, Davis noted in the article, “we’ve seen that in the past you would have clients that would use two or three different companies” for their outsourcing, but “mainly because of our technology, the companies are utilizing us for a turn-key solution.” Davis further substantiated the trend by identifying some common initiatives across DAVACO’s retail and restaurant client base: “DAVACO’s clients have increasingly focused on revamping locations to optimize earnings, whether by adding or removing product lines or departments or rightsizing stores to better fit an area’s demographics. Much of the focus is on the most profitable and productive stores.”
DAVACO specializes in executing programs within existing spaces, including rollouts, remodels, resets, graphic/equipment installations and site/marketing surveys. The majority of the company’s work is performed within an open-store or open-restaurant environment, with minimal disruption to the employees or their customers. “Obviously, DAVACO’s ability to execute change at the retail and restaurant level, without compromising the shopping or dining experience, means that our clients’ locations can stay open for business even while they are implementing capital improvements or other improvement initiatives,” said Davis. “Because we offer a high level of professionalism and expertise, our clients don’t have to sacrifice today’s profitability to invest in future earnings.” For more information on DAVACO’s comprehensive service offering, visit www.davacoinc.com.
